First up, a flashback to Christmas Eve. We had a great dinner at my mom's house with Amy, Bobi, Brian, and Lyssa. I love the Christmas Eve tradition because we get to open all of our presents together right then, and I don't have to wait for another 12 hours.
The girls love this little rocking chair, and are pretty good about taking turns. It was my mom's chair when she was a little girl. My mom says that when she took it to be repaired, she had no idea it would be so expensive to get it back to working order, but I'm glad she spent the money to have such a fabulous family heirloom.
Greg and Lynnie were playing peek-a-boo.
New Year's Day--a picture of Daniel. Not sure who took this one, but it's a keeper!
Ellie's gymnastics has been freezing cold lately. Miss Traci said the heaters aren't working right and a repairman is coming, but for today they did their gymnastics in the little gym because it was warmer there. Good news for Lynnie, because Miss Traci let her play on the slide and the foam pit.
These 2 love to ride horses together!
This is the only picture I took of Lynnie. Great job, me. But you do get to see her pigtails. Lynnie calls them her Minnie Mouse hair.
When we got home from playing, Ellie took some great pictures of us.
And Lynnie took one of Ella.
Playing Just Dance 3 is much more fun with a friend who knows how to work the controller.
Ellie found one of her favorite books at the library, and immediately sat down to read it to Lynnie. They were singing and laughing, and did the whole book. So sweet!
