Wood Badge Beading Ceremony

Tonight was Greg's Wood Badge Beading Ceremony.  He has worked hard over the past 6 months to complete the 5 goals on his Wood Badge Ticket.  It was great to go and support him and see him be recognized.

Getting ready to go was fun, but washing out the orange hair gel from the Adoption Walk was not.  The color in the tub was much oranger than it is showing up in the picture.

We had fun sitting behind Dawnie and next to Brian and Julie.  Lucky Greg got to go with them last February.

Ellie loved wearing Daddy's hat.

Lynnie loved finishing her chicken nugget.

Ellie was just sooooo tired, and she was very cuddly with Daddy.  She had the great idea to pack pajamas in the car (since we bathed right before we came), and Lynlee fell asleep on the way home.  She almost did.

The Eagle Patrol

Getting his new neckerchief, woggle, and Wood Badge beads.

Those represent a lot of hard work!

After all the patrols received their beads, everyone went up to sing the Gilwell Song.  Ellie freaked out this time at not going with Greg, so we sat in the foyer until it was over.  Then Ellie was back in Daddy's arms and all was right with the world again.
