Ellie has been doing fairly well at her violin lessons (and Lynnie has only participated once--we will try again when she is 4). After a few minutes, she invariably tells Grandma she's just too tired to do anything else.
This time, Grandma pulled out some jingle bells and Ellie was magically transformed into her normal, energetic self!
The girls chased each other all over the basement, jingling and jangling.
When we went upstairs, they made a bed out of the chair cushions and happily played "naptime" for about 20 minutes, while Mom and I talked.
And they both really were tired--Lynnie fell asleep on the way home from Grandma's house, and Ellie fell asleep on the way to dance class.
Ellie definitely has caught the cutest-poses-ever bug. She can strike a pose like no one's business!
It was puppet show time at the library again, and we rounded up some friends to go with us. So much fun! We got there early enough that there was time to sit and chat on the couch, and...
...pick out a spot to sit in front of the puppet theater, and...
...run around and find a new spot to sit.
After Story Time, we ran to Costco really quickly, just to get milk. It was crazy blowing snow, and it was so fun to be outside! The girls got all snuggled up in their blankets in their car seats after getting back to the car, and promptly fell asleep.
I really need to reset their sleep schedules.
At least naptime on the couch gives me time to catch up the blogs!
