Todd and Rachel host some fun events every year, including the annual pumpkin carving contest. Greg had a basketball meeting and couldn't make it, so I opted to have the girls paint their pumpkins instead.
Right before we loaded up in the van, I tried to take some pictures of the girls in their cute Halloween shirts. It was 5:15 and they were excited for the party. And not at all excited about taking pictures.
Lulu wanted to stand in this order, youngest to oldest.
Ellie wanted to stand in the middle. That made Lulu mad.
Then Ellie pouted because Lu walked away. Cece thought that Lu was playing tag.
An individual shot restored Ellie's good humour.
These two are turning in to the sweetest pals.
We got to Todd and Rachel's house and got started on our pumpkin masterpieces.
Um, I'm all done. Lulu, take my paintbrush.
Ellie's pumpkin won the prize for the scariest pumpkin , in the children 1-7 category.
Lulu won most colorful pumpkin.
I was gathering girls up to go because I didn't expect Cece to win a prize, but she won something. None of us heard what it was.
The trampoline is always fun with cousins! Cece was getting confused as we were signing people's names and/or relationships. The sign for COUSIN is very similar to her name sign, so she just signed her name to all of the cousins. Good enough for now!
Little Caesar's is more delicious when you get to sit with your cousin Emily.
