For our family adventure, we went to the Evans Family Farm in Lehi. It was just the right size for my taste. We have gone to Hee Haw Farms and Cornbelly's in the past, and they were a little overwhelming for me.
We walked around a little bit to see what was at the farm, and then spent a good while playing in the corn pit. Ellie immediately got in there and enjoyed it. Lynnie warmed up slowly.
Cece stood in it for approximately 3.2 seconds and was not a fan.
Lulu was nervous to jump off the hay bale.
Daddy's foot gave her a little encouragement.
Cece loves to slide.
The little hay bale maze was too easy, according to Ellie. We did the corn maze as well and got blissfully lost.
Daddy's legs would not fit in these itty bitty train cars. Oh, well. He got to take pictures instead.
This is my favorite picture of the day. Thumbs up all around, except from Cece. It was naptime and she had walked in the corn maze for a little while, and she had had enough.
I'm Queen of the World!
I thought Cece just didn't like walking on the hay strewn on the ground. When I took her shoes off at home, there were corn kernals in each shoe. No wonder she was so unhappy!
Our last activity was to walk over to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. Cece loved riding in the wagon and Ellie loved pulling it.
It's too bright to take this picture, Mom!
Seconds after I took this picture, the girls got going so fast that Ellie tripped and fell and scraped her knees. What a way to end our adventure!
